A Cottage With No Roof Cavity, and Where That Leaves the Unit
If your house is one of the old port-centre cottages or terraces, the roof is the option you don’t have. The cavity is shallow or missing altogether and the roof form faces the street, so a cylinder cannot go up out of sight and collectors on a front pitch change what the footpath sees. That leaves a side wall or the courtyard behind.
